Lillian V. Holberton, age 70, of Warsaw, died Saturday, October 30th 2010 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born in Newark, New York, August 30th 1940, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Ruffle Ambs. Lillian lived in Warsaw for the last three years and previously in Florida. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Holberton. Survivors include five sons; James (Beatrice Bush) Ambs of Florida, Wilbur (June) Ambs of Springwater, NY, Ronald Gagner of Florida, Harold Gagner of Rochester, Jeffery Tulley of Florida, two daughters; Lorraine Shattuck-Gagner of Mt. Morris, and Lucille Miller of Rochester, a brother; Howard Ambs, 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also survive.
Friends of Lillian V. Holberton may call on Thursday, November 4th from 12-1pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw where services will be held at 1pm. Burial will be private in the Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
