Larry H. Wright, age 77, of Wyoming Rd. Wyoming died April 21st, 2010 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Larry was born November 29th, 1932, the son of the late Leslie and Margaret Barber Wright. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Larry worked at Akzo Salt in Retsof for 39 years before retiring in 1994, as well as owning his own trucking business and farming locally. He was known as a hard worker who enjoyed driving truck, keeping active, traveling, reading western novels and spending time with his family. Larry was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Pavilion. He was predeceased by a sister, May MacArthur. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Jane E. Dillon Wright whom he married November 29th, 1958, a son; Thomas (Teresa) Wright of Wyoming, 2 daughters; Susan Wright of Wyoming and Nancy (Doug) Norton of Wyoming, a brother; Rodger (Linda) Wright of Springwater, NY and Flordia, 5 grandchildren; Timothy, LuCinda and Michael Wright of Wyoming and Christopher and Heidi Norton also of Wyoming. Friends of Larry Wright may call on Friday, April 23rd, 2010 at the home of Doug and Nancy Norton 14 S. Academy St. from 2 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 24th, 2010 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Pavilion, NY with Father Richard Cilano as celebrant.
