Larry R. Davis, age 68 of Safford Road Pike, died Friday, February 18th 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Larry was born in Pike, April 2nd 1942, the son of the late Earl and Marjorie Brown Davis. A lifetime resident of Pike, Larry was a graduate of Letchworth High School and longtime dairy farmer. For the last fifteen years he owned and operated his own machine shop, "Davis Machine" in Pike. Larry was a dedicated family man and terrific father to his children.
He is predeceased by a son, Peter Davis.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Kathleen Gilbert Davis, whom he married on March 5th 1977. Also surviving are his two sons; Michael Davis and Andrew (Heather) Davis both of Pike, two daughters Amy (Steve) Tillotson and Molly (Ryan) Sampson both of Pike, a brother Gordon (Jill) Davis of Castile, 12 grandchildren and two nieces also survive.
A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family and memorial contributions are requested to the Pike Rescue Squad at 67 West Main Street Pike, NY 14130.
