Larry F. Colton, age 79 of Olmstead Avenue, Delevan, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 31st, 2024 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville. Larry was born at home, in Attica, December 17, 1944 a son of the late Alfred M. and Marie I. Heineman Colton. Larry resided in Delevan for the last eight years and previously in Wyoming County. A 1962 graduate of Attica Central School, Larry owned and operated his own construction company, "Colton Excavating" in Wyoming New York. He was a former member of the Dale Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting. He liked listening and dancing to Country and Western Music, owning horses, and in his younger years, working on and collecting classic cars to include his Camaro and Impala. Larry deeply enjoyed a good home cooked meal and spending time with his beloved family.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Colton and a sister, Jean Gadd.

Survivors include his three daughters, Tina (Wayde Carlson) Comstock of Warsaw, CaSondra "Sunny" (Nick) Wierzba of Hamburg, Cassi Jo "CJ" (Chris) Riehle of West Seneca, a sister, Judy (Dave) Brockner of West Seneca, a brother, George (Shirley Sherwood) Colton of Warsaw, a brother in-law, Tom Gadd of Alden, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Larry Colton may call on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will follow the calling, beginning at 2pm, led by Rev. Ron Kelley of the First Christian Church of Machias. Burial will be private in the Dale Cemetery.
