Kenneth C. Scutt, age 59 of Dutton Road, Silver Springs died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, January 31st at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. Ken was born in Rochester, January 2nd 1959, the son of the late Walter and Doris Clements Scutt.
A lifetime resident of Wyoming and Genesee Counties, Ken drove truck for the last ten years at Baskin Livestock in Batavia. He attended Discovery Chapel in Batavia. Ken was known to be the "Big Joker" of the family and had a great sense of humor. He was fond of music, his truck and trucking. Ken enjoyed talking on his C.B. where his handle was "KC Superstar". He loved his kids and grandkids dearly and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Ken was preceded in death by a sister; Sherry Lynn Scutt.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years; Sue Thurley Scutt, 5 daughters; Dawn (Tony) Watkins of Batavia, Bobbi Sue Scutt and Rebecca Scutt both of Silver Springs, Samantha (Chris) Reinhardt of Batavia, Nicole Royse of Byron, 2 sisters; Cynthia (Michael) Allen and Tina Scutt both of Akron, 3 brothers; Steve (Joyce) Scutt of LeRoy, Daniel (Barb) Scutt of Caledonia, Timothy (Michele) Scutt of Mt. Morris, 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial calling will be held at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw on Saturday, February 10th from 7-9pm and a time of remembrance will follow at 9pm.
