Kenneth L. Potter, age 70, of Genesee St. Warsaw, died Thursday April 22, 2010 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. Kenny was born in Wheeler, NY, December 1st, 1939, the son of the late Herman and Josie Hyna Rose. Kenny has lived in Warsaw since 1978 and was previously of Bath, NY. He was a longtime custodian at the Wyoming County Community Hospital from where he retired. Kenny was a member of the Full Gospel Community Church in Warsaw, Warsaw Moose Lodge #560 and Peers Helping Peers Social Club. He liked fishing and teaching those around him how to fish, especially his family. Kenny is predeceased by 4 brothers, Herman, William, Franklin and Edgar Potter. Survivors include his wife, Linda D. Egan Potter of Geneseo, a son; Kenneth M. Potter of Bath, a daughter; Melissa A. Potter of Avon, a step-son; Mathew Callaro of Livonia, 4 sisters; Dorothy Andrews of St. Cloud, FL, Nellie (Lewis) Losey of Bath, Frances Wright of Elmira and Janice Potter of Elmira, a brother; Alton (Brenda) Potter of Savona, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 24th at the Full Gospel Community Church with Pastor Chris Lonneville as celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date in Highland Cemetery in Avoca. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw has arrangements.
