Kenneth D. Copeland, age 57, formerly of South Main Street, Gainesville, died Monday, January 25th, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. Kenneth was born in Warsaw, May 31st, 1952, the son of the late Carl and Thelma Pierce Copeland. He was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and worked as an assembler at Hilltop in Mt. Morris. Kenneth enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills on television as well as playing catch with his brothers in his younger years. He is predeceased by his two brothers, Gary and Everett Copeland. Survivors include three brothers; Richard (Deborah) Copeland of Wyoming, Lyle (Brenda) Copeland of Gainesville, John (Valerie) Copeland of Bliss; one sister-in-law, Joan Copeland; as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends of Kenneth D. Copeland may call on Saturday, January 30th from 11am to 2pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2pm Saturday, January 30th with Pastor Donald Vogel as celebrant. Burial will follow privately in the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston-Wyoming County ARC at 18 Main Street Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
