Kenneth Amico, age 68, of Warsaw passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Suzanne's Comfort Care Home in Perry after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.  Ken was the son of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Werner and Michael Amico and grew up in Attica.  He graduated from Attica Central in 1974.  He married Marilyn in 1981 and became an amazing dad to her two daughters Michelle and Suzanne. Kenny had a love for country music, camping, fishing, and driving everything from motorcycles to 18 wheelers. He was a volunteer firefighter, enjoyed NASCAR, was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #734, and a social member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club.  Most of all, he was an amazing Papa to his 11 grandchildren.

Ken retired in 2010 after 30 years as an Industrial Supervisor at Attica Prison. He and Mary spent summers at Dream Lake Campground in Warsaw and winters in Harlingen, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary; his daughters and sons-in-law Michelle (Mike) Spink and Suzanne (Brody) Wheeler; and his grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Logan, Dustin, Isabella, Mitchell, Grace, Marina, Elijah, Mason, and Maybelle. Ken is survived by his brother John and was preceded in death by his sister Linda. He is also survived by Linda's sons Alan (Lindsey) Farnsworth and Scott Knapp, along with several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews whom he shared his life with. He was a gentle man with a generous and loving heart and will be missed by everyone whose life he touched.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated in Ken's name to Suzanne's Comfort Care Home, 167 North Main Street, Perry, NY 14530.
