Keith R. Whitcomb, age 63, of Alachua, Florida died peacefully at home May 21st 2009 after a brave 35 year fight with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in Tacoma, WA, March 17th 1946, the son of the late Chester and Esther Sloan Whitcomb. Keith was a 1964 graduate of Warsaw High School and went on to earn a degree in accounting from Alfred State University. He worked many years for Xerox in Rochester as an accountant and Martin Marietta in Florida before his disease forced him to retire. Keith enjoyed golf and anything outdoors. He was a man who loved and cared deeply for those close to him. His sense of humor never left him, even in the last months of his life. He was preceded in death by his sister Lois Murtha. Survivors include a son; David (Kelly) Whitcomb of Georgia, a daughter; Rachael Whitcomb of Florida, and a brother Paul (Donna) Whitcomb of Florida.
