June D. Taylor, age 90, of Lowing Ave., Silver Springs, passed away Monday, April 23rd, 2012 at the East Side Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in West Falls, NY, June 23rd, 1921, the daughter of the late Robert and Delia DeYoung Reader. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, June worked several years for Robeson Cutlery and then as a Work Flow Controller for Champion Products from where she retired. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Tabernacle in Silver Springs where she was very dedicated to her church family. June loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, baking and reading the bible as well as many other books. She was predeceased by her husband, Lyman Taylor; a son, Ronald Taylor; a daughter, Karen Sullivan; a brother, Albert Reader; and 2 sisters, Mary Quinn and Margie Reader. June is survived by 2 daughters, Jennifer (Grant) Shattuck of Pike and Laurel Lee of Silver Springs; a sister, Gwendolyn Bateman of Orchard Park; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends of June may call from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm Thursday, April 26th, 2012 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, April 27th, 2012 at the Mt. Zion Tabernacle with Pastor Jay Bailey as celebrant. Burial will be private in the Elmwood Cemetery, Silver Springs. Memorial contributions may be made in June's name to the Mt. Zion Tabernacle at 5503 Broughton Rd. Silver Springs, NY 14550.
