June Holmes, age 76, of Dale Road, Dale, New York, passed away and went home to be with her beloved Lord on Monday, October 5 ^th 2020. June was born in Hamlin, New York, June 7 ^th 1944, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred Hutton Annis. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, June was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and home maker. A long time attendee of West Middlebury Baptist Church and former member of Maplecrest Baptist Church in Warsaw, June loved camping and family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. She was a terrific cook who always put her family first. She loved her animals and flowers. June was a caring and loving wife to her beloved husband and high school sweetheart of 57 years, Sammy V. Holmes whom she married on May 26 ^th 1963.

June was preceded in death by her sister; Betsy Schutt.

Survivors include her husband Sammy V. Holmes of Dale, two sons; Dr. Rev. Vaughn (Teresa) Holmes of Bergen, Walter (Stephanie) Holmes of Batavia, a daughter; Michelle (Todd) Winspear of Wyoming, a sister; Jeanine (John) Neary of Henrietta, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one on the way, with several nieces and nephews.

Friends of June Holmes may call on Thursday, October 8 ^th from 1-3pm and 5-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw on. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, October 9 ^th at 11am with her son Dr. Rev. Vaughn Holmes as officiant. Burial will follow in the Dale Cemetery.
