Julia H. Elliott, age 97, died peacefully Thursday, April 23rd at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Lordville, New York, February 26th 1912 the daughter of the late Roy and Delia Carey Lord. Julia lived most of her life at Silver Lake but moved to Pavilion for a short time before Warsaw. She worked as a laborer at Robeson Cutlery in Castile for many years but mainly as a dedicated homemaker. She was formerly a member of St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs but later joined St. Mary's in Pavilion. Julia was active with the Altar and Rosary Society and the Old Orchard Beach Association. Julia was preceded in death by her loving husband Clifford Elliott Sr. and a brother Raymond Lord. Survivors include three sons; Clifford (Shirley) Elliott Jr. of Pavilion, Burton (Doris) Elliott of Wyoming, and Thomas (Clara) Elliott of Attica, 20 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
