Joyce E. Cornwall, age 78 of Sherman Ave. Wyoming, died peacefully Saturday, April 6 ^th 2019 at her own home. She was born in Warsaw, July 16 ^th 1940, the daughter of the late Arthur and Angeline Ewell Perry. As a lifetime resident of Wyoming, Joyce was a 1959 graduate of Wyoming Central School and went on to the Rochester Business Institute in pursuit of a business degree. She returned home to the wonderful community of Wyoming where she was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and choir. Joyce was known as being a devoted mother and grandmother who deeply cared for her family. She also enjoyed baking, long walks and playing golf with her beloved husband Daniel, whom she married June 6 ^th 1964 and who passed in 2011. Joyce was also preceded in death by her brother in-law, Milton Mote.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Rhonda (Paul) Schiller of Glenside, PA, Joanne (CJ) Herman of Gainesville, NY, a son, Richard (Jessica) Cornwall of Honesdale, PA, six grandchildren, Zachary Schiller, Jocelyn and Nathan Cornwall, Logan, Avery, and Connor Herman, two sisters, Kay Mote of Byron and Jane (Arnold) Parrish of Wyoming as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Joyce may call on Thursday, April 11 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, April 12 ^th at the First Baptist Church of Wyoming with Pastor Douglas Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyoming Cemetery beside her husband Daniel. Memorials may be made to the church or Wyoming Hook and Ladder at PO Box 36 Wyoming, NY 14591
