Joseph D. Weiss, age 54, of Nesbit Road, passed away November 27th, 2011 at his home in Attica. He was born in Buffalo, NY, April 29th, 1957, the son of the late Joseph J. and Dorothy J. Ress Weiss. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Joseph worked as an assembler/inspector at CBO Glass in Alden, New York. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid hunter, shooter, sportsman and was truly at home in the woods with nature. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Benz. Survivors include his loving companion, Lisa Kranz of Attica; 2 sisters, Martha (Patrick) McNamara of West Seneca and Linda (Warren) Jensen of Angola; 3 nieces, Melanie and Katie McNamara and Susan (Timothy) Schnaufer; and extended family members Diane (Mark) Smukall. A memorial celebration will be announced in the near future.
