Joseph G. Murch, age 73 of North Maple Street Warsaw, passed away at home, Monday, November 2 nd 2020. Joe was born in Rochester, June 3 rd 2947, a son of the late Warren and Lillian Monroe Murch. Joe enlisted in the Army in 1966 and served our country honorably with the United Sates Army, serving in Vietnam and returning to finish his enlistment before going on to join the Army Reserve. Joe worked for a time with the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was a collector of Coca Cola memorabilia, abstract art, and woodworking. Joe was a crafty storyteller and practical joker who also had a great sense of humor.
Joe was preceded in death by his brother; James Murch, his former wife and best friend; Sharon VanSon, a brother and very dear friend; Clifford VanSon, a grandson; James Kososki Jr..
Survivors include his son; Joseph E. (Michele) Murch of Warsaw, two daughters; Aimee Murch of West Seneca, Eva (Jim) Kososki Sr. of Warsaw, 2 sisters; Fran (Fred) Beach of Florida, Sherry (Ray) Smart of Oakfield, a brother; John (Stephanie) Murch of Rochester, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm, Friday, November 6 th in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica with Pastor Lauran Heidenreich of St. Paul's Church of Christ in Attica.
