Jose Velasco, age 80 of North Main St. Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. He was born in New York City, September 3rd, 1932, son of the late Eugenio and Concepcion Cisneros Velasco. He was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and worked in assembly at Hilltop Industries in Mt. Morris. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Sylvia Velasco and a nephew, James Velasco, both of Katy, TX as well as many friends and devoted caregivers. Jose was predeceased by his 2 brothers, James and Ralph Velasco. A funeral service will be held 10am, Monday, August 12th, 2013 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw with Deacon John Kelly of St. Michael's Church as celebrant. Burial will be private in St. Michael's Cemetery, Warsaw.
