John F. Wyman, age 80, of Wilder Rd., Warsaw, passed away Thursday, June 27th, 2013 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. He was born in Silver Springs, January 28th, 1933, son of the late Francis and Marcella Ralph Wyman. A 1951 graduate of Letchworth Central School and resident of Wyoming County for the past 50 years, previously of Niagara Falls and Springville; John worked as a letter carrier and postal supervisor for the Warsaw Post Office from where he retired in 1992. He enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting, and was known to always put his family first. John served his county honorably in the United States Army from 1953 to 1960. He is predeceased by his sister, Patricia Greene. Survivors include his loving wife Dolores Walton whom he married September 21st, 1956; a son, David Wyman of Mt. Morris; a daughter, Jennifer (James) Jeffries of Lexington SC; 7 grandchildren, 4 nieces, 4 nephews; and longtime friend and neighbor, William Smith of Attica. There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family and burial will be held privately.
