John L. Worth, Age 40, of Humbert Rd. Sheldon, died at home peacefully, Saturday, January 16th, surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Newport, VT, August 12th, 1969, the son of the late David and Carol Lanpher Worth. He was a long time resident of Vermont and moved with his wife, Jennifer to Sheldon 17 years ago. Graduating from Vermont Technical College with a degree in building construction, John worked as a car inspector with CSX Transportation, formerly Conrail. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. John is survived by his wife, Jennifer E. Prue Worth; five daughters, Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Joelle, Lillian and Lydia; a son, Joshua; a brother, Mike Worth of Island Pond, VT; and a sister, Lynne Worth of Charleston, VT. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Paul (Kathy) Prue; his brother-in-law, Jeremy (Andrea Pontre) Prue; and a sister-in-law, Gretchen (Hal) Monez as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be held at the Calvary Heights Baptist Church 981 Bowen Rd. Elma on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.
