John P. Court age 75 of Genesee Street, LeRoy died Wednesday, January 18th 2017 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. John was born May 11th 1941, the son of the late Frank and Lena Tennies Court. A lifetime resident of Pavilion and LeRoy, he worked as a crop farmer on his family farm in Covington and at Lapp Insulator in LeRoy. He also retired from driving school bus for Pavilion Central School. John was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Pavilion and was truly dedicated to all things youth related with the Pavilion School District. Survivors include 4 cousins, Dawn Bertchrum of LaGrange, Mary Ann Henderson of Wyoming, Kay Allen of Clearwater, FL, and Gordon Davis of Pavilion; an aunt, Belle Bright of Lockport; and a lifelong friend, Pastor Paul Phillips of Delevan. Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Pavilion, 10956 Lake St. Pavilion, on Saturday, January 28th at 1pm. A private burial will be held in the Pavilion Cemetery beside his parents.
