Jeffrey D.
Reynolds

Attica
Jeffrey D. Reynolds, age 65 of Buffalo Street Attica, passed away, Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Jeff was born in Dansville, a son of the late Peter E. Reynolds and his mother, Bonnie Richards Reynolds.
Jeff attended the Culinary Program through BOCES, and he graduated from Attica Central School in 1979. Jeff worked at a number of establishments in town, but primarily he spent over twenty five years as the head cook at J&W's Attica Hotel. Jeffrey enjoyed all things outdoors, such as hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He was also a dedicated golfer, and a longtime member of Quiet Times Golf Course in Attica. Jeff also served the Harder O'Donnell Post #734 in Attica with the Sons of The American Legion. Jeffrey fed so many people with his wholesome cooking, and touched their lives forever with his wonderful personality.
Jeff is survived by his devoted son, Christopher (Sarah Janes) Reynolds of Attica, his loving daughter, Chelsea (Ryan) Peyman of Batavia, his cherished mother, Bonnie Richards Reynolds of Attica, his supportive brother, Peter (Eva) Reynolds of Attica, two grandsons which he adored, Riley and Evan Peyman, his former wife and mother of his children, Sandra (Tom Bartkowiak) Reynolds of Attica, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. We would be remiss if we didn't also mention his beloved companion and cat, "Sir Fats".
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery beside his father, on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11am for family and close friends, with the Sons of the American Legion leading off. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held for Jeff at the Harder O'Donnell Post, beginning at 12pm. Memorial contributions are requested to the Sons at 83 Market Street Attica, NY 14011. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 has arrangements. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer condolences, send cards, light a candle or to plant a tree in Jeff's name.
