Obituary

Jeanette L. Souva, age 63, of Donna Rd., Rochester, passed away Saturday, October 5th, 2013 at the Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born in Batavia, NY, October 8th, 1949, daughter of the late Charles E. and Dorothy E. Moag Morgan. A lifetime resident of Monroe County, 1967 graduate of Pavilion High School, and graduate of Bryant and Stratton College, Jeanette worked as an Audio Visual Specialist for Spencerport High School. She enjoyed flower gardening and was very dedicated to her sons and grandchildren. Jeanette was a member of St. Theodore's Church in Rochester and was known as a fun loving woman. She was predeceased by her brother, Dennis Morgan. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, David Souva of Rochester; 2 sons, Jeffrey (Judith) Souva of Long Island, NY and Craig Souva of Sidney, NY; 2 brothers, James Morgan of Rochester and Jerry (April) Morgan of Batavia; 3 grandchildren, John, James and Colin Souva; a niece, Christine Morgan; and an aunt, Ruby (Orin) Linger of Marion, OH. Friends of Jeanette may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Wednesday, October 9th at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw where a vigil service will be held at 4pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held 11am, Thursday, October 10th, at Jeanette's home church, St. Mary's, Pavilion with Father Richard Cilano as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Pavilion.
