Jean M. Macagney, age 92, of Bauer Road, Warsaw passed away, peacefully, at home, Saturday, April 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving children. Jean was born in Suffern, New York, January 12, 1932 a daughter of the late William and Grace McKinnon Ricker. She resided in Wyoming County since 1996 and previously Florida. Jean retired from the Tuxedo Hospital in Tuxedo, New York as a Nurse's Aid in 1981 after 20 years. She spent time locally as a participant of the Warsaw Stroke Support Group and enjoyed cooking, crafting and camping. She once made an entire turkey dinner over a campfire. Jean adored all babies and toddlers especially her own many grandchildren. She was a fun loving lady who loved to laugh and smile.

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, George Greenway, her second husband, Robert Macagney, three brothers, Cornelius, William, and Harold Ricker, seven sisters, Daisey Ricker, Emma Marion, Eva Atteberry, Helen House, Frances Jackson, Anna Sinkway, and Elsie Schneider.

Survivors include her two daughters, Lee (Steve) Storms and Susan (Sam) Prinzi both of Warsaw, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 with Pastor Benjamin Campbell of the 1st Baptist Church of Wyoming as officiant. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
