Jason A. Allbright, age 43, of East Koy Road in Pike, passed away suddenly at his own home, Sunday, September 10th 2017. Jason was born at Fort Sill Oklahoma, September 25th 1973, the son of David and Meredith (Washburn) Allbright of Pike. A lifetime resident, Jason graduated from Letchworth Central School in 1992. He earned his Associates Degree in Agronomy from Alfred State College and was trained as a journeyman carpenter. Most recently he worked in maintenance and security at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. Jason was a member of the Pike Fire Company and a 3rd Degree Master Mason from the Triluminar Lodge #543 in Pike. He enjoyed gardening, raising animals, sharing time with his niece and nephews, attending tractor pulls and spending time with his Best Buddy "Thatcher" his beloved Black Lab.
Along with his parents, Jason is survived by a brother; Brian (Jim Compton) Allbright of West Hartford, CT., a grandmother; Lois Washburn of Pike, 4 uncles; Bruce Allbright of Pike and Peter Allbright of Florida, Morris (Lori) Washburn of McEewen, TN, Mitchell (Elaine) Washburn of Pike, 2 aunts; Marlene Hubbard of Pike and Melva (David) Clark of Earlville, NY, a niece; Carolyn Compton-Allbright, 2 nephews Thomas and Jefferson Compton-Allbright all of West Hartford, CT, 2 great aunts; Juliann and Carol King of Pike, and many cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
Memorial services will be held at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw on Saturday, September 16th at 12pm with Pastor Winston Platt of Warsaw's First Baptist Church as officient. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Pike at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pike Rescue Squad at PO Box 175, Pike, NY 14130.
