Janet L. Fagner, age 84, of Prospect Street Warsaw since 2018 and previously Henrietta, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at the East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. Janet was born in Olean, a daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy Liley Taylor. She graduated from Olean Central School in 1956 and worked for 25 years at Flower City Tissue Mill in Rochester before retiring in 2002. Jan was a longtime member of The Ladies of The Moose, Lodge #2290 in Henrietta. She was a no nonsense kind of lady who had a huge and giving heart. Jan was helpful to those around her and she loved her grandchildren and her precious dogs.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband James Bartell, her son, Theodore Jakubowski, her sisters, Barbara Enge , Betty Taylor, her brothers, Jack and David Taylor.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Wojcik of Warsaw, Deborah Jakubowski of Amsterdam, NY, a brother, James (Diane) Taylor of Olean, a granddaughter, Alicia Woodworth, her great grandchildren, Hannah Rose, Emmalee, Elizabeth, Danielle, and Jesse Woodworth all of Warsaw as well as several nieces and nephews.
