James L. Young, age 50, of Dow Rd., Freedom, passed away Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Warsaw, October 28th, 1964, son of Roy Young and Marjorie Houghton. A resident of Allegheny County for 16 years and previously of Florida, James was a 1982 graduate of Pioneer High School in Arcade and a graduate of Airco Technical Institute. He worked as a Certified Welder for API in Arcade and enjoyed hunting and trapping. James was a hard working man who was dedicated to his daughter and grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and the North American Hunting Club. James is survived by his parents, Roy Young of Rushford and Marjorie Houghton of Farmersville Station; a daughter, Teal Randall of Holland; 2 brothers, Jeffrey (Deborah) Young of Rushford and Joseph (Griselle) Young of Lantana, FL; a sister, Jennifer Young of Delevan; 3 grandchildren, Mitchell, Lacey and Carson Randall all of Holland; and 3 nieces, Deanna, Kristyn, and Katilyn Young. Friends of James may call Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 from 10am to noon at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A memorial service will be held following calling hours at noon with Pastor Winston Platt of the First Baptist Church of Warsaw officiating. Burial will take place in the Lyonsburg Cemetery.
