James K. Wilbert Sr., age 66 of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 1 ^st 2021 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. Jim was born in Fulton, New York, December 21st 1954, a son of the late Joseph Wilbert and Dorothy Wilbert Baker of Wildwood, Florida. Jim graduated from Alexandra High School in 1973 and went on to work at Walt Disney World in Florida as a monorail driver. He then took a job in 1994 to 1999 with Finger Lakes Tractor in Waterloo, NY. Jim worked for many years as an Operations Director at the Leesburg, Cordova and most recently the Peachtree Mall in Columbus Georgia. Jim retired in 2019 and pursued his passion for working on old tractors and vehicles and remodeling his home. He was good with his hands and he enjoyed restoring and customizing old cars with his children. Jim was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ellerslie Georgia. He was loved by all who knew him and those who's lives he touched.

Jim was preceded by his father; Joseph Wilbert in 2001, his son; Samuel in 2017, and a Brother; David in 2005.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Katherine A. Dolph Wilbert whom he married on May 31 ^st 1975, his two sons; James K. (Mae) Wilbert Jr. and Joshua A. (Cassie) Wilbert both of LaGrange, GA, six grandchildren; Alexis Caskey, Janessa Wilbert, Rebecca, Katelynn, London, and Samuel Wilbert Jr., three brothers; Joseph (Pamela) Wilbert of Iva, South Carolina, Thomas (Audrey) Wilbert of Mt. Verd, Florida, Martin (Amy) Wilbert of Sumterville, Florida, two sisters; Peggy Wilbert of Wildwood, Florida, and Susan Soper of Weirsdale, Florida.

A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date and burial will follow in the St. Peter's Lutheran Evangelical Cemetery in Churchville, NY. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N.
