Silver Springs-
James J. Vigneri, age 88, of Dutton Rd., Silver Springs, passed away Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Rock Glen, May 19th, 1924, son of the late James Sr. and Frances Goodsell Vigneri. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County and 1943 graduate of Warsaw High School, Jim owned and operated the Glen Rock Restaurant in Rock Glen. He was a member of the Wyoming Veterans Inc. (Vet's Club) and the Warsaw Moose Lodge #560. Jim enjoyed his winters in Florida, golfing, and watching sports on television. He was predeceased by a wife, Evva Baylor in 1993; a loving companion, Gloria Arnold in 2008; and a sister, Josephine James. Survivors include a sister, Dorothy (Paul) Poeltl of Warsaw and 4 stepchildren, Art Austin of California, Debby Austin of Freedom, John Austin of Arcade, Mary Smith of Maryland and their families. Friends of Jim may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, Monday, November 12th, 2012, at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13th, 2012 at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Warsaw.
