James S. Baker, age 67, of Quarry Rd., passed away Sunday, March 9th, 2014 at the Batavia VA Medical Center. He was born in Batavia, August 8th, 1946, son of the late Stewart J. and Doris E. Dorney Baker. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, James worked as a Process Control Technician for Markin Tubing in Wyoming, NY from where he retired. He was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge #560 and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping at the North Fork Music Park and gardening. James served his country honorably with the United State Army from 1966 to 1972. He is survived by 3 sons; James (Kellie) Baker of Wyoming, Mark (Catrina) Kingsley of Perry and Mathew Baker of Perry. A memorial service will be held 1pm, Saturday, March 15th at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw, with Chaplain Francis Head as celebrant and where military honors will be rendered.
