Ida K. Carmichael, age 89 of East Arcade, Rd. Arcade passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Ida was born in Pittsfield Maine a daughter of the late Paul (Arlene Kennedy) King. She was a 1950 graduate of Mattanawcook Academy in Maine. She went on to earn a degree in Education from Presque Isle University in 1954. She married her late husband upon graduating from college and in 1957 began her journey to Western New York. Ida was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loving family. Ida was a spiritual lady who was very dedicated to her church and faith. A generous woman, Ida was known to give the proverbial shirt off her back.

Ida was preceded in death by her beloved husband of Duane E. Carmichael, her son; Dale, her biological mother who passed when she was three; Ora Kennedy, her brothers; George, Dennis, Douglas, Dwaine King and a sister; Permelia "Mickey" King.

Ida is survived by her four daughters; Sandra L. (Dale) Beroff of Farmersville, Druanne K. Walczak of Batavia, Tracy L. (Jeffrey) Carmichael of Tennessee, Janelle B. (the late Keith) Parrott of Woodbine, GA, three sons; Randy P. (Luanne) Carmichael of Silver Springs, Steven W. (Sherry) Carmichael of Pembroke, Kenneth D. (Brenda) Carmichael of Cowlesville, three brothers; Darrel (Beverly) King, Reuben (Teresa) King both of Lincoln, ME, Delbert King of Cleveland, TN, seven sisters; Priscilla Richmond of Virgina, Patricia (Robert) Philbrooke of Lincoln, ME, Paula Webster of Shelby, MI, Pauline Hartwell of South Carolina, Perline (Harlan) McCafferty of TN, Pamela (Jeffery) Young of TN, Penny (Anthony) Stewart of Lincoln, ME, a sister In-Law; Jeanette King of Lincoln, ME. twenty one grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends of Ida K. Carmichael may call from 1-3 and 6-8pm on Tuesday, November 2 nd at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will be held 10am, Wednesday, November 3 rd 2021 at the Rock Glen Baptist Church with Pastor Daryn, Duff officiating.
