Hope Katherine Speechley, age 45 of South Street Road, Pavilion, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Hope was born in Dansville, July 23, 1978, a daughter of Howard R. and Diana L. Harcleroad Speechley. A 1997 graduate of the Pavilion Baptist High School, Hope worked as a self employed housekeeper at her church and various locations in the region. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Pavilion where she enjoyed working with children and church groups to include the Vacation Bible School, Junior Church and taught Sunday School. Hope loved animals and was the local babysitter for numerous children. She had the biggest heart and was the sweetest girl you ever knew.

Hope was preceded in death by a brother, H. Joshua Speechley in 2003.

Survivors include her parents, of Pavilion, a sister, Charity Gayhart of Avon, a brother Jared (Catheryn) Speechley of LaGrange, three nephews, Ethan (Liz) Speechley of LeRoy, Jacob Gayhart of Avon, Riley ( Cheyenne) Andrews of York, a niece, Joy Gayhart of Pavilion and a great niece, Maisy Speechley of LeRoy as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends of Hope Speechley may call on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10am to 12pm at the First Baptist Church of Pavilion. Funeral services will follow the calling at noon with Rev. Glen Richard and Rev. Ken Miller. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery on South Street Road, Pavilion. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 has arrangements.
