Obituary

Herbert A. Dolph, age 88, of Clarcona, FL., passed away Saturday, April 6th, 2013 at the Cornerstone Hospice Facility in Taveras. He was born in Pike, NY August 8th, 1924, son of the late Arthur M. and Minnie Seth Dolph. A resident of Clarcona, FL since 2007, and previously of Pike, NY. Herbert worked 50 years as an auto and truck mechanic at multiple car dealerships as well as working for his home Town of Pike. He served his country honorably with the United States Army Air Corp. Herbert enjoyed roller skating, woodworking family projects and fishing. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Madeline Kenyon Dolph; a son, Larry Dolph; 2 sisters, Jennie Sommers and Martha Foley; a brother, Franklin Dolph; and a grandson, Jonathan Dolph and a great grandson; Matthew Tilton. Survivors include 5 daughters, Linda (Gerald) Palermo of Avon, Katherine (James) Wilbert of Waverly Hall, GA, Pamela (Robert) Langan of Stafford, VA, Betty Jean (Curtis) Stone of Clarcona, FL, and Sarah (Roy Miller) Comstock of Perry; a son Dee (Vickie) Dolph of Cinnamonson, NJ; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and a nephew. Friends of Herbert may call on Friday, April 12th from 10am-12pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. Funeral services will be held immediately following the calling at 12pm with Pastor Robert Farnsworth of the Pike Community Church as celebrant. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Pike with full military honors. Memorial Contributions may be made in Herbert's name to the Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Rd. Taveras, FL 32278
