Helen L. Bush, age 96 of Prospect Street Warsaw, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 14th at the East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. Helen was born in Franklinville, November 29th 1914, the daughter of the late James and Olive Howard Dornan. A 1932 graduate of the Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville, Helen spent twenty years in Rochester but most of her life in Castile as a homemaker. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid bowler and golfer, and also enjoyed playing cards and baking. Helen loved all sports and was a faithful fan of the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur J. Bush on July 30th 2010, two brothers; Earl and Howard Dornan, a sister; Eleanor Nugent, and a grandson; Michael Bauer. Survivors include two sons; William (Judy) Bush of Pike, Gerald (Bobbie) Bush of Henrietta, three daughters; Marilyn (Eric) Swenson of Ft. Myers, FL, Patricia (James) Bauer of Warsaw, Janice (Joseph) Terranova of St. James, MO, a brother; James (Margraret) Dornan of Great Valley, NY, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Helen L. Bush may call on Sunday September 18th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs at 11am on Monday, September 19th with Father Richard Blazejewski as celebrant.
