Obituary

Harry J. Kaczmarek, of Kenmore, passed away Tuesday, August 13th, at the Kenmore Mercy Hospital. A lifetime resident of Buffalo, Harry proudly worked for 41 years at the GM Tonawanda Engine Plant from where he retired in 1980. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish Catholic Church since 1953 and enjoyed his gardens, floral arranging and entertaining family and friends. Harry was known as very hard working and a dedicated family man who knew how to enjoy the best in life. Harry is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Pearl, whom he married on September 28th, 1940; a brother Elmer, a sister Eleanor Wojczak, a daughter-in law Linda Kaczmarek. He is survived by his son Robert and daughter Kathy (Martin) Munnich; three grandchildren, Deborah (Edward) Dickinson, Ronald (Donna) Kaczmarek, and Brian (Jennifer) Kaczmarek; 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and two nieces. Friends and family may call Thursday, August 15th, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 11am, Friday, August 16th, 2013 at the Blessed Sacrament Church 263 Claremont Ave., Tonawanda, NY 14223 with Father Bill Quinlivan officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Harry's name to the church.
