Georgia D. Martin, age 74, of Route 19 South Warsaw, passed away, Friday, April 29. 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. Georgia was born in Warsaw, January 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Lars and Doris Powers Tyler. A 1966 graduate of Wyoming Central School, Georgia remained a lifetime resident of the community. She worked in the business office at WCCH and later as a medical secretary for Dr.'s Piechocki, Chaudry, and Riggio. Georgia was a member of St. Michael's Church in Warsaw and loved her flower gardens as she had the proverbial green thumb. Her kind heart and warm smile attracted people to her and her sense of wit was well known. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her numerous friends at the Wyoming County Veterans Inc. where she was a longtime member.

A brother, Robert Tyler, two brother's in-law, Albert Strathearn and Ronald Grutzner preceded her in death.

Georgia is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert Martin, whom she married on July 2, 1972. Additional survivors include her daughter, Nicole (Jeffrey) Carlino of Amherst, her son, Patrick (Rose) Martin of Tonawanda, three grandchildren, Jack, Caroline Carlino and Kenley Martin, two sisters, Betty Strathearn of Wyoming and Jean Grutzner of Warsaw, a sister In-Law, Mary Ann Tyler of Florida and Penn Yann as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Georgia D. Martin may call on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at St. Michael's Church in Warsaw. Burial will be private, for the family, at a later date, in St. Mary's Cemetery in Pavilion.
