Gary M. Herrmann Sr. age 61, of Burke Hill Rd. Warsaw, died peacefully at home Tuesday, January, 12th 2010. He was born in Warsaw, April 5th 1948, the son of the late Francis and Eileen Bush-Herrmann. Gary was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County, and a 1967 graduate of Wyoming High School where he was very active in the FFA. He owned and operated his own dairy farm and was also the former owner of Valley View Lanes in Warsaw. Gary attended Wyoming Baptist Church and was known for his terrific sense of humor. He was an avid bowler and a long time follower of Tradio, Bid and Buy, and enjoyed attending farm auctions. Gary found peace on his farm, with his cows, and especially haying. Survivors include his loving wife of fifteen years, Linda M. Samsel-Herrmann, whom he married on October 22nd, 1994; four daughters, Tammy Courtwright of Attica, Bobbie Jo (Todd) Phelps of Attica, Alysa Herrmann of Bergen, Roseanne (Rod) Proefrock of Warsaw; three sons, Gary (Desirae) Herrmann Jr. of Bergen, Rick (Heather) Herrmann of Batavia, Jayson (Amy) Rissinger of Pavilion; two brothers, Keith (Cyndee) Herrman of Warsaw, Mike (Kellie) Herrmann of Texas; three sisters, Linda (Mike) Moroz of Tenn., Sandy (Brock) Vosburgh of South Carolina, Sheri (Robb) Kersch of Warsaw; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. Friends of Gary M. Herrmann Sr. may call on Friday, January 15th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10 am, Saturday, January 16th, 2010 with Pastor Douglas Evans as Celebrant. Burial will follow privately in the Warsaw Cemetery.
