Francis J. "Fran" Bottone, age 63, of Wyoming St., passed away Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Batavia, January 3rd, 1953, son of the late Francis P. and Ruth West Bottone. A lifetime resident of Attica and Warsaw, a 1971 graduate of Attica Central School, and a graduate of both Alfred Tech. and Empire State College, Fran worked as an Account Executive with Morton Salt from where he retired after 30 years. He always put his family first, and loved being with his children and grandchildren; who affectionately called him "Papa". Fran is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Susan Williams Bottone whom he married June 24th, 1978; 2 sons, Matthew (Shelly) Bottone of Penfield and Brett (Alisa) Bottone of Pittsford; 2 brothers, James (Peggy) Bottone of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Thomas (Judi) Bottone of Clarence; a sister, JoAnn (Dave) Miller of Allegany; 2 sisters-in-law, Ellen Williams and Pam (Tom) Senick; a brother-in-law, Frank Williams; 5 grandchildren, Ella, Blake, Ethan, Cora, and Elliot; many nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Kim and Kathy Humphrey. Fran attended the First Congregational Church in Perry Center. He enjoyed everything about golf, playing euchre, his convertible, and motorcycling. He also enjoyed his time with his golf buddies and Friday coffee buddies. Family and friends of Fran may call from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm Friday, April 15th, 2016 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at the funeral home with Eric Kelly of the First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will take place privately for the family in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
