Florence E. Ignatowski, age 85, of Pickett Street Extension, Castile, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022. Florence was born in Buffalo, March 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie Nawrocki Zielinski. A lifetime resident of Western New York, Florence lived in Castile since 1988 and previously Buffalo. Florence earned a business degree and worked as an accountant for many businesses throughout Western New York and most recently the Erie County Health Department from where she retired in 1988. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. Florence had a knack for crafting and truly loved polka dancing.

Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Edward J. Ignatowski whom she married May 26, 1956. Additional survivors include her sons; Thomas (Candi) Ignatowski of West Seneca, James (Virginia) Ignatowski of Chili, NY, a daughter in-law, Joan (Larry) Engasser of Clarence, a brother, Frank (Helene) Zielinski of New Hampshire, five grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Juhas, Chris (Kim) Ignatowski, Jon Ignatowski, Matthew Ignatowski, Trisha (Edmund Hoi) Ignatowski, five great grandchildren, Kevin and Lily Juhas, Harper, Bristol, and Callen Ignatowski.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Thursday, March 31 ^st 2022 at St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs with Father Michael LaMarca as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Perry. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw has arrangements.
