Evelyn V. Supina age 84, died Monday, November 1st 2010 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. Evelyn was born in Manhattan, NY, March 10th 1926 the daughter of the late Jerry and Marie Becack Divis. Evelyn resided in Wyoming County for the past nine years and previously in Coxsackie, NY. She retired from the New York State Lottery Division in 1993. Evelyn was a strong lady and very devoted to her family. She liked arts and crafts especially ceramics, knitting and quilting. In her younger years she enjoyed camping with her family. Evelyn was predeceased by her loving husband Edward F. Supina on October 22th 1980 and her brother Robert Divis. Survivors include 3 daughters; Sandra (Michael) Cornell-Delaney of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, Joanne (Dennis) Rakin of Hollywood, MD, Cathy (William) Sherrick of Bainbridge, NY, 2 sons; Mathew (Gay) Supina of Gainesville, Mark (Charlene) Supina of Coxsackie, NY, a sister; Dorothy(Joseph) Esmail of Colorado, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends of Evelyn V. Supina may call at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw on Friday Nov. 5th from 12-2pm. Services will follow the calling, at the funeral home, at 2pm with Pastor Chris Lonneville of Warsaw's Full Gospel Community Church. Burial will be private in the Riverside Cemetery in Coxsackie, NY.
