Obituary

Evelyn Mae Frazier, age 84, of Main Street Silver Springs, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 14 th 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born in Orangeville, NY, April 25 th 1933, the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Marion L. Reitzell Stalhood. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County and 1950 graduate of Bliss High School, she was the Valedictorian of her class. Evelyn started working as a Candy Striper at the old Warsaw hospital before working as a nurse's aide at WCCH. She later worked in cafeteria at Letchworth Central School and part time at her daughter's business, The Pizza Shed in Pike. Evelyn attended Bliss Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, cooking and canning. She spent her life dedicated to her extensive family and enjoyed her time spent on the farm on Youngers Road. She truly loved the babies.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Frazier, her children Karen, Butch and Joel Frazier, a son in-law; David W.H. Lewis.

Survivors include The Love of Her Life; Albert Hoffman of Silver Springs, her 9 children; Lynette (Mike) Petre of Silver Springs, Eileen (David) Stroud of Pike, Terri (Fred) Mahany of West Sparta, April (Todd) Miller of Castile, Becki Frazier of Castile, Penny (Dennis) Freeman of Pike, Lisa (Tim) Lindsey of Castile, Chad (Jill) Frazier of North Collins, Stacey (Mike) Burrows of Bliss, a sister Marilyn (Lee) Pirdy of Bliss, a sister in-law Diane (Tom) Hollister of Warsaw, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Evelyn M. Frazier may call on Thursday, April 19 th from 1-4pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw where a memorial service will follow at 4pm conducted by Pastor Harrison Putnam of the Castile United Church of Christ. Burial will follow privately at a later date in the Elmwood Cemetery in Pike. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Suzanne's Comfort Care 167 N. Main Street Perry, NY 14530
