Ernest L. Baker, age 101 of North Maple Street Warsaw died, Friday, February 8th 2013 at the East Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. Ernest was born in Warsaw February 12th 1911 the son of the late Arthur and Bessie Dunlap Baker. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Ernest was a foreman for 20 years at the Embury Lantern Co. and spent 16 years with Lapp Insulator and several years with Pavilion Gas and Mallory Timers in Warsaw before retiring in 1976. Ernest was a member of Warsaw's United Church, the Blue Mountain Boys, Wyoming Conservation Association, a Lifetime Member of the Warsaw Moose #560, and Warsaw's Fireman's Exempts. Ernest is preceded in death by two wives; Mabel Guska and Margaret Ellwood Baker and a daughter Loretta Heller. Survivors include his son in-law; Fred W. Heller of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the Warsaw Cemetery on Thursday, February 14th at 11am and will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Barbara Therese of The United Church of Warsaw. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw has arrangements.
