Eleanor D. Sepor, age 89, of Telephone Road, Pavilion, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 19th, 2017 at The Greens of LeRoy. She was born in Buffalo, April 3rd 1928, the daughter of the late John and Susan Kecskes Wargo. Eleanor attended Saint Mary's School of Business in Buffalo and went on to become a lifetime resident of Pavilion, where she was co-owner; with her husband Peter, of the Old Orchard Inn for 38 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in LeRoy, both Wyoming County Veterans Inc., Pavilion Fire Department Ladies Auxiliaries, and the St. Mary's Ladies of Charity. Eleanor enjoyed staying active with the Batavia Exercise Club at the Senior Center and bowling with the Pavilion Ladies Auxiliary. She also liked playing cards with her husband and friends as well as dancing and spending time with everyone at family gatherings and was known as a terrific hostess and cook.
She is preceded in death by a her beloved husband Peter in 2012; a son, Michael Sepor; 4 brothers, Louis, John, Sylvester, and Joseph Wargo; and 6 sisters, Julia Vari, Ethel Kocsis, Jenny Wagner, Suzi Spinda, Irene Bogdon, and Clara Pellegrino. Survivors include 2 daughters, Judith Ann (Craig) Muehlig of Pavilion, and Mary Sue (Richard) Wade of Canandaigua; a son, Richard Sepor of Pavilion; 6 grandchildren, Ryan and Jennifer Muehlig, Peter Griffith, Andrea Masterson, and Richard Jr. and Jakob Sepor, 3 great grandchildren, Cameron Muehlig, and Mary and Nora Masterson; 2 sisters-in-law, Cheryl Ann Logsdon and Nancy (Imolo) Karr, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends of Eleanor may call from 4pm to 8pm Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary Immaculate St. Mary's Site in Pavilion 11am Saturday, September 23rd , 2017. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery in LeRoy.
