Edward J. Kirsch, age 75, of Hollow Road, Varysburg, passed away at home, peacefully, Tuesday, February 23 ^rd 2021. Ed was born in Buffalo, December 16 ^th 1945 a son of the late Raymond and Cecelia George Kirsch. A 1964 graduate of Arcade High School, Ed became a lifetime resident Sheldon and bought his own farm in 1976. He was the consummate Dairy Farmer and worked harder than anyone you ever knew. Ed was a longtime member of St. Cecelia's in Sheldon and most recently the former St. Nicholas in North Java. He enjoyed his old tractors even collecting models of them for many years. Ed was a talented woodworker and had and many knew him for his slightly twisted sense of humor.

Ed was preceded in death by his brother; George Kirsch.

Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 48 years, Susan L. Bald Kirsch whom he married on July 23 ^rd 1973 and who worked their farm right beside him. Additional survivors include his two sons; Mathew Kirsch of Spencerport, Jacob (Nicole) Kirsch of Farmington, a daughter; Barbara (Timothy) Monaghan of Albion, a brother; Paul (Janet) Kirsch of Varysburg, a sister; Genevieve Stojek of Sheldon, a sister in-law; Holly Kirsch of Strykersville, three grandchildren; Michael and Daniel Kirsch and Owen Monaghan, numerous nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be conducted in St. Cecelia's Cemetery in Sheldon. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 has arrangements.
