Edna A. Mayer, age 69, formerly of Maple Ave. Pike, Passed away, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Unity Hospital in Rochester. Edna was born in Warsaw, December 7, 1952, a daughter of the late Jay E. and Betty M. Facer Buckley. Edna graduated from Letchworth Central School in 1971 where she also worked in the cafeteria for over 20 years before her retirement. She was a very opinionated and strong lady. You always knew where you stood with her. She adored all children, especially her own and her grandchildren. Edna was generous of spirit, time and money. She was a longtime Disney Club Member and would have moved there permanently if she could.

Edna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Stephen P. Mayer whom she married on July 15, 1972.

Survivors include her daughter, Tenesia Boyle of Middleport, two grand daughters, Kaydence and Peyton Boyle both of Middleport, two sisters, Roxie Nourse of Merritt Island, FL, Candi (Allen) Snyder of Palm Bay, FL, a brother Monty (Alli) Buckley of Michigan, two special nephews, Tim Thurber of Alabama, and DJ Thurber of Rochester, a special niece Bobbie Schwab and a special buddy, Mason Schwab both of Alabama. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends of Edna A. Mayer are invited to a Celebration of Edna's Life and time of sharing at 11am, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569.
