Dorothy Prusak, age 89, of North Main St., passed away Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Buffalo, June 17th, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Wesolowski Kornacki. A resident of Warsaw since 1963, previously of Lancaster, Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Oatka Valley Construction in Warsaw as well as being a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking and ice skating. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Prusak in 2005; 4 brothers, Joseph Jr., Richard, Thomas and Raymond; 2 sisters, Jenny and Mary; 1 grandson, Rick; and a great granddaughter, Madison. Survivors include 2 sons, Richard ( Patricia) Prusak of Dale and Thomas (Linda) Prusak of Warsaw; 2 daughters, Barbara (Mike) Akey of Avon and Patricia (Jeff Cropp) Prusak of Silver Springs; 2 brothers, Daniel and Eugene; a sister, Eileen; 3 grandchildren, Teresa (Mike) Scheffield, Aaron (Casey) Prusak, and Thomas (Trisha) Griffith; and 4 great grandchildren, Sara, Gavin, Ashley and Polly. A private graveside service will be held in the Dale Cemetery.
