Doris M. Bodine, age 90, of Park Rd. Batavia, passed away Sunday, May 27 ^th , 2018 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born in Naples, March 5 ^th , 1928, daughter of the late Lynn and Blanche Johnson Hughner. A resident of Batavia since 2013, previously of Warsaw, Doris was a dedicated homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, and baseball as a longtime Mets fan. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Stanley G. Bodine Sr. in 1988; a daughter, Sherry Bodine; a son, Kelly Bodine; 3 sisters, Betty Carey, Margie Northrup, and Janet Mansfield; and a brother, Lynn Hughner. Survivors include 5 daughters, Rhona Funnell of Batavia, Doreen (Kerry) Thompson of Warsaw, Marla (Rich) Popielarczyk of Fairport, Terri (Ron) Barone of Akron, and Stacy (Rich) Smith of Warsaw; 7 sons, Stanley (Tammy) Bodine of Warsaw, Barry (Patty) Bodine of Wyoming, Daryl Bodine of Warsaw, Robin Bodine of Batavia, Scott Bodine of Warsaw, Jeff (Keith) Bodine of Rochester, and Tracy Bodine of Warsaw; 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends of Doris may call from 2pm to 5pm Friday, June 1 ^st , 2018 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw where a time of remembrance will follow at 5pm. Burial will take place privately in the Warsaw Cemetery.
