Warsaw/Perry

Donna J. Dickes, age 73 of West Court Street, Warsaw passed away, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital after a brief illness. Donna was born in Warsaw, March 13, 1949 a daughter of the late Albert E. and Monica B. Dickes. A lifetime resident of Perry, Donna moved to Warsaw in 2021. She worked for many years as a Home Health Aid throughout Wyoming County. A dedicated homemaker and mother, Donna raised 8 wonderful children. She enjoyed reading and performing plastic canvas artwork. She was a regular at the former J&C Coffee Shop in Perry where she enjoyed spending time with her many friends. Donna was a hard worker and would do anything for her family that she so adored.

Donna was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward and LaVern Dickes and two sisters, Betty Wolcott, and Jeraldine Shaumloeffel.

Survivors include her five daughters, Theresa Chase of Warsaw, Michelle (William) Bidell of Warsaw, Joette (Jeremy) Smith of Perry, Yvonne Dickes of Geneseo, Cheryl Figoria of Batavia, three sons, Michael (Mellissa) Bongiovanni of Warsaw, Steve Chase of Orchard Park, and Scott (Tina-Marie) Chase of Jamestown, a sister, Teresa Dickes of Warsaw, 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
