Donald W. Luckenbach Sr., age 80, of High St., Victor, passed away Sunday, October 9th, 2016 at the Unity Hospital in Greece. He was born in Wayland, October 5th, 1936, son of the late Hayden and Geraldine Lang Luckenbach. A lifetime resident of Livingston County and 1954 graduate of Wayland High School, Donald worked as a truck driver for Empire State Motor Express in Lime Rock from where he retired. He was a member of the York Baptist Church, and served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves from 1955 to 1963. Donald was predeceased by 2 brothers, Clarence and Hayden Jr. and a sister, Eleanor Partridge. Survivors include a daughter, Estelle Luckenbach of Houston, TX; 3 sons, Donald (Diane) Luckenbach Jr. of Conyers, GA, Matthew Luckenbach of LeRoy, and Andrew (Pamela) Luckenbach of Mt. Morris; a brother, Lester Luckenbach of Mt. Alto, PA; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Military honors will be rendered at 4pm in the Maplewood Cemetery, Pavilion on Thursday, October 13th, 2016.
