Leukemia took Dennis from his beloved family and friends on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014 at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Age 53, of Royce Rd., Dennis was born July 8th, 1961, son of Marvin and Rosemary Dailey Royce of Johnsonburg. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Dennis attended and graduated from Ohio Diesel Technical Institute for his certification as a diesel mechanic. He worked for various companies throughout Western New York in his field, but finally for Titan Enterprises in Wyoming as a truck driver. Dennis enjoyed all motorsports, especially dirt bike and snowmobile riding as well as hiking and the outdoors. He also played the drums and loved music. Dennis was predeceased by his grandparents, Theodore (Ruth) Royce and Ralph (Alta) Dailey; and a brother, Douglas Royce. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Donald (Dianne) Royce of Johnsonburg, a sister; Dawn (Frank) Matteson of Johnsonburg; a niece, Heidi of Hamburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held in the Johnsonburg Cemetery 11am, Friday, August 8th, 2014 with his Uncle Bud Royce officiating.
