Dennis L. Lynk, age 71, of Maple St., Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, November 13th, 2012, at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born in Wawayanda, NY, April 1st, 1941, the son of the late Ernest and Florence Wheeler Lynk. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Dennie was self employed for over 30 years, owning and operating Lynk's Collision in Wyoming before retiring in 2002. He was a longtime member of the Wyoming Hook and Ladder, and was known as a very dedicated and loving family man. Dennie enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. Lynk in 2010; his step mother, Anna Shetler-Lynk; a daughter, Denise Mae Lynk; 3 brothers, Ernest, James and Alfred Lynk; and 4 sisters, Delores Billings, Arleta Shaut, Katherine Gilbert and Nancy Hoad. Survivors include 2 sons, Dennis C. Lynk of Wheatfield and Jeffery (Kim) Lynk of Wyoming; 2 daughters, Michelle (Jim) Smart of Wyoming and Brenda Lee (Mark) Heineman of Pavilion; 5 brothers, Raymond (Barbara) Lynk of Pavilion, Jack (Patti) Lynk of Wheeler, Leonard Reese of North Carolina, Kenneth (Pat) Reese of TN, and Albert (Bobbie) Reese of FL; 5 sisters, Marion (Bill) Perry of Hammondsport, Helen Lynk of Addison, Norma (Gary) Reynolds of Bath, Lillian Para of Bath and Jessie (Bud) Barrett of FL; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends of Dennie may call Thursday, November 15th, 2012 from 6pm to 9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, 10am, Friday, November 16th, 2012 with Pastor Mark Weber of the Dansville Free Methodist Church as officiant. Burial will follow in the Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dennie's name may be made to the family.
