David G. Wilson, age 64, of North Main Street, Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, December 14th, 2011 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. He was born April, 29th, 1946 in Warsaw, the son of Francis R. Wilson and Verna M. Ford. A 1964 graduate of Perry High School, David was known as a practical joker to his family and friends. He enjoyed wrestling in his younger years, boating, fishing, football and the Buffalo Sabres. David was particularly good at darts, winning several tournaments including the national championship in Las Vegas. He is predeceased by his wife, Sandy Stone Wilson; his father, Francis R. Wilson and a sister, Rhonda J. Wait. Survivors include his mother, Verna M. Wilson of Mt. Morris; 2 sisters, Relma M. (Steve) Stewart and Nancy L. Dunn both of Dansville; 2 brothers, Howard W. Wilson of Rochester and Kent A. Wilson of Leicester. Friends of David may call Friday, December 16th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw, NY 14569. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, December 17th, 2011, with Pastor Daryn Duff of Rock Glen Baptist Church as Celebrant. Burial will take place at a later date privately.
